Research
I'm currently learning a range of undergraduate mathematics and doing a little bit of research in extremal set theory. I would be gladly open to undergraduate research opportunities in Number Theory or Combinatorics.
Coursework
I currently have third year standing. Here are some relevant courses I've taken at UBC:
- Multivariate Calculus, ODEs, and Linear Algebra
- Group Theory, Ring and Module Theory
- Real Analysis and Hausdorff Topologies
- Complex Analysis
- Elementary Number Theory
- Graph Theory
- DSA
- Advanced Machine Learning
- Theory of Computation
As well as some interests of mine which I have briefly explored on my own:
- Sieve Theory
- Additive Combinatorics
Competitions
I participate in Competitive Programming. I am a Master on Codeforces, some other platforms, and a member of the UBC ICPC team.
In high school, I used to participate in Math Olympiads. My subtopic preference was A > N = C >>> G. I had an AoPS account under polarity.
My most notable competition achievements:
-
3rd at ICPC NA West (1st in British Columbia)
-
Putnam Mathematics Competition Top 200
-
Canadian Open Math Competition Champion
-
Canadian Senior Math Competition Champion
